From being a part of the first Polar team as a little kid in 2011, to turning pro as a grown man in 2024 – David Stenström has been flying around with ease on a Polar board for over a decade. Few people have such enviable style while skating big transitions. Some words from his longtime friend and team member Oski, describe him very well:
“David was one of my first favorite skaters. I remember being so impressed with his style as a kid growing up in different parts of Sweden. Once I met him and we became friends, almost 20 years ago, I remember his personality having an even bigger impact and influence on me. He was one of the most recognizable skaters in Sweden, but he was only 12. He was definitely a bit arrogant and disrespectful but that just made him stand out more in my eyes. Since then, a lot has happened, and he’s evolved a lot. I think people all over the world see the timelessness in him and his skateboarding now, but David has had that his whole life”.
